Scope
The objective here was to transform complexity of UBI & blockchain technology into a approachable, transparent and trusted global platform. Scope also included designing a high value and easy to understand brand visual identity system that simplifies decentralized charity bridging the gap between advanced blockchain engineering and everyday global donors supporting the cause.
Brand Metaphors / Attributes / Keywords
First order of business for any full scale brand identity work starts with developing an effective Brand Strategy and work my way towards Brand Positioning.
Initial design phase entails the story of collecting as much information as possible about the brand itself, it’s target audience and answering further more important questions. Once Brand Strategy reaches the point of saturation where it answers all essential questions about the Market, Consumers, & Competitors. I tend to immediately move towards Brand Identity System. We can further simplify this process by consolidating associative brand metaphors, attributes & keywords.


Colour Palette Exploration
With the end of digital exploration phase we had the brandmark we needed. But only obstacle now was that we had two brandmarks, and the competition was tough. So we decided to move on to color palette exploration beforehand and put up the competing design to an in-house poll.

Finalised Logo & Construction
Correct placement of any logo design relies heavily on it's Optical as well as it's Geometrical Balance & Stability. My personal approach to find the right stability is to develop a grid architecture which helps in eliminating redundant points and fix the design & typography balance on a custom level.

Hand Drawn Illustrations
Working on illustrations such as these was my favourite part whilst my time at Baza Foundation. Since Mr. Andrew (CEO) allowed me complete freedom to express foundation’s goals with digital artwork.

Marketing
Next big challenge for us was to design a marketing campaign to introduce Baza Foundation and it’s core principles of UBI integrated with Blockchain Technology to the masses.
Although the concept of Universal Basic Income has been talked about many noteworthy personalities through the ages yet it wasn’t a common knowledge back in the day. Hence we embarked on the journey of educating the general populous about the many advantages of UBI and it’s advocates as the core value for our own marketing campaign.

White Paper Preview
While a white paper is a detailed report that explores a certain problem and presents a well researched solution. The challenge for us was not to just deliver information but also educate our user base upon the functioning of Baza Foundation.
Hence we decided to take a non conventional approach at the time and gave our white paper a simplified tone of writing along with an aesthetically appealing design. We focused heavily upon graphics & illustrations which explained the aggressively complex nature of blockchain technology in a easy to understand medium.

Product Design
The core challenge with the product design was that we needed to keep the product’s presentation extremely minimal in a easy to understand format. Our Founder & CEO, Mr. Andrew understood one thing very clearly that we are communicating to the masses instead of targetted audience. Our user-base can vary from a simple florist to a data scientist, hence we needed a platform that effectively communicates our product to larger masses without overwhelming anyone.
We deployed multiple techniques throughout the product to tackle this specific challenge. Out of which I believe I saw the highest success rate with our on page restrictive scroll system.
